More efficient Flight Planning

Description
The main objective of this project, deployed by LFV, was the implementation of an Integration Platform within the Swedish airspace, allowing a more efficient flight planning as well as the delivery of efficient exchange of information and data, thanks to the free exchange of network information between the operational stakeholders’ systems by means of B2B services. Such implementation has ensured the LFV's compliance with the System Wide Information Management (SWIM) through the implementation of a Cooperative Network Information Exchange system, which is a necessary requirement for the full application of SWIM.
The project implementation is also supporting LFV in the transition into the Aeronautical Information Management (AIM), i.e. a dynamic and integrated management of aeronautical information services through the provision and exchange in collaboration with all parties of quality-assured digital aeronautical data. Such transition has been enabled by the capacity of the platform to integrate the AIM functionalities, in line with the objectives outlined in the relevant regulation.
The implementation of the integration platform is providing more efficient cooperation within LFV and improved coordination with neighboring Member States as well as with the Network Manager (NM). The implemented platform will furthermore act as an enabler for deploying the changes recommended by the Network Manager.
